Job Description

Function/Team Summary
The Business Operations and Strategy (BizOps) team is a dynamic, cross-functional group responsible for spearheading high-impact strategic initiatives, optimizing business and sales operations, and managing performance across regional payment and money movement ecosystems. Acting as a critical link between executive vision and operational execution, the team works across Product, Technology, Commercial, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Regulatory, Implementation, Client Service, and more-driving the company's growth and operational excellence.
Position Summary
We are seeking an accomplished Director to lead business strategy and operations within our regional payments ecosystem. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining high-performance strategies and operational models, while identifying and driving new commercial opportunities. You will manage and mentor a high-performing team and coordinate a broad range of cross-functional workstreams to deliver outstanding results aligned with organizational goals.

Travel Requirement: This position requires the incumbent to travel for work 10% of the time.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

-Significant experience in strategy and business leadership roles (preferred: within payments, fintech, or related ecosystems).
-Payment domain or FinTech experience is a major plus
-Be adept at diagnosing complex issues into clear problem statements, using data to confirm the scope and ensure the team is consistently approaching the most valuable problems to solve.
-Proven track record of identifying growth opportunities, developing go-to-market strategies, and driving commercial success.
-Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
-Adaptable, highly organized, and effective in fast-paced, evolving environments.
-Excellent interpersonal skills, able to clearly communicate complex project requirements, achieve stakeholder buy-in, and keep stakeholders updated on project progress.
-Strong understanding of the market trends and dynamics to drive the company's growth strategy.
-Ability to negotiate priorities across organizations as required, to plan and prioritize multiple tasks effectively, and to independently drive projects through to completion
-Have an optimization mentality, continually tuning team processes and systems to deliver efficient and seamless workflows.
-Be a self-starter who takes accountability for getting things done.
