Your Role

The Business Technology practice is one of the leading CIO & CMO advisory and technology innovation teams in the UK and Europe. Our high‑calibre management consultants deliver profitable outcomes in business and IT‑oriented environments, working in a collaborative way with major FTSE 100 and Government clients to achieve their strategic goals effectively.

Role Contribution

  • Business Development – Leading/contributing to proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client pitch contribution, client hosting at events.
  • Internal Contribution – Campaign development, internal think‑tanks, whitepapers, practice development (operations, recruitment, team events & activities), offering development.
  • Learning & Development – Training to support career development and the skills demand within the company, certifications, etc.

Your Profile

We seek a Director‑level candidate to strengthen our consulting go‑to‑market in the Digital Factory team across the public sector. You will be part of the practice leadership team, drive our go‑to‑market plans, growth strategy, shape offers in this space, grow our people, develop our digital factory capability, and lead sales and delivery work with new and existing clients. You’ll generate new business and sell and deliver in excess of £2 m per annum of management consulting work.

  • Extensive experience working with senior leadership to shape digital transformation programmes, design/embed operating models, and create new products.
  • Expert in digital delivery & strategy, specialising in multidisciplinary teams’ ability to deliver digital transformation, new experiences and embed emerging technology.
  • Expert facilitation skills for program planning, product vision, design thinking, strategy, definition, roadmap, visioning, etc.
  • Currently working in a major consulting firm and/or in industry with a consulting background; proven ability to succeed in a matrixed organization and enlist support and commitment from peers in selling and delivering consulting solutions.
  • Experience in proposition building and delivery.
  • Business development – utilising a combination of existing organisational relationships, company relationships and your own network, generating approximately £2 m of consulting revenue as a Director.
