What You Will Get To Do

SS&C is seeking a highly skilled strategic Product and Solutions Director to join our team based in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading efforts in identification, development, and launch of new hedge fund products and solutions.

Working closely with senior leadership and other cross-functional teams, you will oversee the entire product lifecycle—from concept and research to execution and market launch. This role requires a strong understanding of hedge fund strategies, market trends, and client needs, with a focus on driving innovation and enhancing our competitive edge. You will be expected to demonstrate strategic thinking, leadership, and problem-solving skills to effectively manage and implement new solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy and Vision: Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for new hedge fund products and solutions, focusing on identifying market opportunities, trends, and emerging client needs.
  • Client Engagement: Collaborate with key clients and internal stakeholders to understand evolving needs, gather feedback, and tailor product solutions that address requirements.
  • Acquisitions: Identify and participate in the evaluation of potential acquisition targets aligned with SS&C’s strategic objectives.
  • Market Insights & Trends: Stay ahead of market trends, industry regulations, and client demands to inform product development and strategy. Provide thought leadership on hedge fund services and emerging industry developments.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with internal teams such as sales, technology, and business units to ensure successful implementation and delivery of hedge fund services solutions.
  • Go-To-Market Strategy: Collaborate with SS&C’s marketing team to develop and execute a go-to-market strategy for new hedge fund products and solutions, ensuring effective positioning and messaging.

What You Will Bring

  • Significant experience in hedge fund services, including fund administration, operations, and middle/back-office.
  • Proven track record in product management, product strategy, or product development within the hedge fund or financial services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of hedge fund operations, asset classes, trading strategies, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, including the ability to present and demonstrate solutions to clients, prospects, and internal stakeholders.
