This role is based in London, UK and requires existing right to work in the UK.

What will I be doing?
Providing technical leadership and line management of engineering teams between primarily London, Bristol and Paris, focused on building solutions for our European clients. You will lead a team that will extend and adapt our global platform in order to deliver to clients in new European markets. You will ensure that the local product team operates in the most efficient manner and allows us to meet our expanding client base in the region.
- Collaborating with Commercial, Customer Success and Product stakeholders to develop shared strategic outcomes and ensuring the technology team is set up to achieve these outcomes.
- Strong communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership and new clients.
- Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with our European clients throughout the entire client lifecycle from sales, delivery into maintenance and account management.
- Providing the strategic vision for the Platform Integrations area with the ability to translate this into a clear, actionable roadmap for your teams.
- Leading and developing Heads of Engineering and Principal Engineers in a small autonomous leadership team.
- Being ultimately responsible for technical decision making and the technology strategy within your area and working to influence the larger Kaluza platform and architectural vision.
- Building and promoting our technology brand, including overseeing how we bring new talent to your technology teams.
- Continually improving your area towards technical and operational excellence and industry best practices.
- Building an excellent technology culture of highly autonomous, intrinsically motivated, well‑aligned teams.
- Helping teams to make technical and prioritisation decisions that align with our business objectives and long term goals.
- Building strong relationships with the Product, Design and Commercial partners to your teams.
- Being ultimately responsible for the overall implementation and run budget for your area, including managing programme spend and client revenue.
- Building impactful teams and working with the people team to develop talent and build the succession plans of the next generation of leaders.
About You.
- Have a track record of delivering large, complex and long running transformational programmes of work to enterprise clients, ideally involving SaaS platform integrations and migrations
- Be an expert in cloud and SaaS integration technologies to enable fast time to value for our clients.
- Have familiarity with SaaS platforms and their integrations into enterprises, ideally within the energy or billing/payments domain.
- Be comfortable in front of clients, particularly during pitches, implementation planning and contract negotiations.
- Be a proven senior leader with experience building and leading a team with a focus on your team’s development and engagement.
- Have experience leading teams through significant organisational or technical changes.
- Inspire your team and all of Kaluza and are excellent at recruiting, retaining and developing great people.
- Have a strong technology background and proven experience in leading a team to build well architectured, high quality software solutions.
- Have expertise in designing and managing robust, well‑documented APIs that new clients can use to integrate with the core Kaluza platform.
- Have an understanding of data management and flow, particularly in the context of integrating and migrating client data.
- Have a deep understanding of agile methods and value, co‑creating product vision and leadership strategies with your counterparts from other functions.
- Be someone who is comfortable with ambiguity and excels in fast‑paced and changeable environments being able to think on your feet and do whats needed to get new clients over the line.
