We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to establish and lead our Health and Safety Consulting practice within our wider Risk Consulting Practice.
The Director of Health and Safety Consulting will oversee strategic growth initiatives and deliver top-tier consulting services to our clients. This leadership role requires a proactive mindset, exceptional management skills, and deep expertise in health and safety standards across various industries and sectors.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the strategic vision for the health and safety consulting practice, aligning with the company’s overarching goals.
- Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery and satisfaction.
- Regulatory Compliance: Provide expert guidance on health and safety legislation, ensuring clients comply with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of health and safety consultants, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Business Development: Identify growth opportunities, develop new service offerings, and collaborate with the sales team to expand the client base.
- Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Oversee comprehensive risk assessments for clients, providing innovative solutions to mitigate risks effectively.
- Embedded Services: Identify and secure opportunities to embed Control Risks H&S experts within client organizations.
Essential
- Significant, recent, and relevant commercial experience in a construction, real estate, or project management consulting firm with a focus on risk.
Management Role
- A passionate advocate for project management discipline.
- Deep understanding of operating across EMEA.
- Commercially astute with a proven track record of effective project delivery.
- An accomplished consultant with expert client relationship management skills.
- The gravitas and personal credibility to build effective relationships at senior executive levels.
- Highly developed communication skills – written and verbal.
