Job Title: Operations Director
Location: City of London - Hybrid - 3 times a week
Salary: Up to £100,000
About the Company
I’m partnering with an innovative and fast-growing healthtech company that’s redefining how care is delivered and managed across the UK. This organisation is on a mission to transform safety, efficiency, and information sharing across the care and medication ecosystem.
About the Role
I’m looking to speak with experienced Operations Directors who can play a pivotal role in scaling internal processes and enhancing cross-functional performance. This is a hands-on leadership role, central to enabling the company’s continued growth and operational excellence.
You’ll work across departments—sales, onboarding, marketing, and finance—to align teams, improve systems, and identify opportunities for smarter, more scalable ways of working.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Understanding
- Develop a deep understanding of the company’s operational ecosystem, particularly within social care and digital health workflows.
- Identify and address bottlenecks to unlock greater efficiency.
Strategic Operations & Scalability
- Design and implement scalable frameworks to support long-term growth.
- Lead coordination across key departments including sales, onboarding, support, and finance.
- Assess and mitigate operational risks to maintain strong business continuity.
Operational Excellence
- Drive day-to-day efficiencies across teams and departments.
- Continuously refine processes and introduce automation where appropriate.
- Leverage technology to improve output, tracking, and team alignment.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to support strategic decision-making.
- Build dashboards and analytics tools that provide leadership with actionable insights.
- Use data to highlight opportunities and make recommendations for improvement.
Continuous Improvement
- Champion a culture of agility, learning, and operational innovation.
- Encourage best practice sharing and process adoption across the business.
Internal Communication
- Ensure consistent and transparent communication of strategic priorities across teams.
Vendor & Tools Management
- Manage third-party vendor relationships and ensure tools and systems are fully optimised.
- Oversee internal platforms including CRM, project management, and communication systems.
Project Management
- Lead and deliver cross-functional initiatives that align with overall business goals.
- Ensure milestones, resources, and timelines are managed effectively.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven success in an operational leadership role within a scaling, product-led or tech-driven environment—ideally with experience in healthcare or healthtech.
- Strong expertise in process design, cross-functional operations, and continuous improvement.
- A data-driven mindset with excellent analytical skills.
- Familiarity with CRM, workflow tools, and digital systems used to enhance operational performance.
- A confident communicator who thrives in a collaborative, purpose-driven culture.
