Overview

Our client is a global provider of financial services in private wealth, fund administration and corporate services. On their behalf we are looking for a seasoned tax professional to fill the role of director, tax compliance and reporting. This role can be based in Guernsey or London.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the group’s client entity tax reporting function.
• Review tax advice given to clients and support business teams when tax advice and compliance are required.

Qualifications

• Strong demonstrable experience of working on tax returns for companies and trusts in the UK and offshore crown dependencies. Experience in UK company and trust tax is essential.
• Professional qualification such as CTA or equivalent and 10 years' experience in a tax function with a number of years as a team leader.
• Good communication skills essential to engage with, and present to, in-house teams and clients who may be non-technical. Ability to promote and act as a figurehead when engaging with external stakeholders and clients.

Location and travel

Applicants should be resident in Guernsey or the UK with the need to travel and work in the company's London operations.
