YesAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to undertake the role of Duties Administrator.

The Resource Management Unit is responsible for providing the efficient and effective publication of advanced duties for all officers and police staff using the appropriate computerised systems; identifying resource and skills shortages.
The successful candidates will be required to maintain and update computer databases used in relation to Duty Planning, including updating the system in relation to duty planning, duty substitution, changes to work schedules and creation of new work schedules, medical appointments, discretionary and exceptional leave, in order to maximise resources and provide accurate management information.
They will operate the SAP system to resolve queries in relation to duties, flexi balances, time statements, absences, and work schedules and bring any discrepancies to the attention of the Resource Manager, in order to ensure the efficient resolution of such queries and maintenance of accurate records at all times. They will also maintain a working knowledge of police regulations, police staff conditions of service and force policy on exigencies of duty, overtime, rest day/bank holiday working, work schedules, and sickness management, in order to provide advice and guidance to police officers, police staff and managers and to ensure the effectiveness and accuracy of SAP.
The successful candidate will be required to record all court commitments for officers and staff, amending and communicating all duty changes and making appropriate arrangements to cover the abstraction where necessary, to ensure adequate cover at all times.
The post holder will be required to collate and maintain the on-call rotas utilised across the force, disseminating details to those who need to be aware of cover arrangements and ensuring that all changes and amendments are made in a timely manner so that the rotas can be of effective use in the delivery of force performance.
You will provide administrative support within the RMU as required, including dealing with telephone enquiries and visitors, in order to provide cover in particular during periods of absence and to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the unit at all times.
Successful candidates will be classed as a 'home based agile worker', working predominately (80% or more) at home and only working in the office when required to do so.
The working hours for this role are usually Office hours Monday to Friday, however there is an expectation that you will assist with a late and weekend working rota for one week/weekend in every 14 weeks. For this you will be compensated with an enhanced hourly rate for unsociable hours working.
You will be required to assist Resource Managers with the provision of a range of management information and statistics, completing any necessary returns in respect of staffing levels, abstractions, sickness, overtime, rest days/bank holiday working, etc., in order to facilitate informed decision making.
