Dynamics 365 Business Central Consultant

Up to £575/day (Outside IR35)

Remote (UK-based)

Duration: 6 months

Start: ASAP

We are seeking two experienced Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultants to support the rollout of a Business Central solution within a retail environment. This contract role is suitable for functional consultants with hands-on experience configuring BC, uploading data, and working with retail processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and support Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central across business streams.
• Load and manage Configuration Packages, including data migration and updates.
• Participate in workshops, data validation, UAT, and post-go-live support.
• Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders for smooth delivery.
• Assist with stock configuration, item master data, and retail modules.
• Utilize your understanding of retail operations to shape system setup and user readiness.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proven experience as a Business Central Functional Consultant, with multiple implementations preferred.
• Experience handling Configuration Packages and data loads.
• Experience in retail environments, understanding workflows like stock, sales, and purchasing.
• Effective communication with technical teams and business users.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in configuration and testing.
• Familiarity with stock and inventory processes in BC.
• Basic knowledge of Azure Queues / Azure Service Bus.
• Exposure to Power Platform or related Microsoft technologies.
• Experience with third-party retail integrations or POS systems.
