The Dynamics 365 CE - Power Platform Support Developer role is responsible for support through code, bug fixing and documentation while achieving targets for ticket SLA’s. You will be responsible for code fixes and deployments to existing customer systems and will support the support consultants with more technical support to resolve technical tickets. Our fast-growing Service Desk team services Dynamics products from on-premise versions (2011) through to the latest Dynamics 365 updates.

Responsibilities

  • Providing triage, investigation, request fulfilment, diagnosis, ownership, monitoring, tracking, resolution and communication of tickets.
  • Restoring normal operational service as quickly as possible, communicating with users and escalating tickets as defined, with the aim of resolving without further escalation where possible.
  • Providing remote and, if required, in-person hands-on functional and technical knowledge and managing long-term client relationships within the context of the role.
  • Managing support channels (portal, email and telephone), ensuring all interactions are logged and managed through to resolution.
  • Creating, testing and documenting processes related to Dynamics and Power Platform.
  • Proactive monitoring of system performance and usage.
  • Producing regular and ad-hoc customer reports.
  • Conducting monthly/ad-hoc/user satisfaction call-backs/surveys.
  • Identifying areas for improvement within the service desk and collaborating on company-wide improvements.
  • Presenting new features introduced in Microsoft releases and involved in evergreen customer site updates.
  • Acting as a technical point of escalation.
  • Bringing energy and enthusiasm to work for clients.

Qualifications

  • Ideally 3 years of experience in a service-focused role; minimum of 12 months’ experience in a Service Desk environment.
  • Confident with professional interpersonal communication skills; ability to discuss technology with business stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder management with ability to communicate clearly at multiple levels; good documentation and attention to detail.
  • Process-driven with understanding of efficient ITIL4-based service desk practices.
  • Confidence to engage stakeholders, challenge colleagues when needed, and keep everyone engaged.
  • Training ability to produce materials and deliver training on the Microsoft platform.
  • Proactive communicator; willingness to share information.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good judgement, knowing when to escalate and when to handle independently.
  • Knowledge of ITIL best practices preferred.
  • Aspiring to progress a career within a professional Dynamics Customer Engagement context.
  • Good knowledge of Dynamics CRM applications; professional certification (PL-200/PL-400) is a plus.
  • Strong development knowledge with Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate).
  • Strong experience with C#, .NET, Java, Power Automate, Logic Apps and Canvas Apps.
  • Ability to provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices for storing code changes.
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 CE and Azure key vaults/applications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
