Overview

Join to apply for the Early Years Assessor role at LXP Talent. This is a home-based role with travel in the local Bromley region to deliver L2, L3 and L5 Childcare apprenticeship qualifications. You will join a well established and specialist apprenticeship provider in the Early Years sector.

This vacancy is open to experienced, qualified assessors and newly qualified assessors.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver vocational qualifications and prepare learners for end-point assessments, using coaching and assessment methods that comply with the National Standards and Awarding Body requirements.
  • Provide high levels of support to learners and work closely with childcare providers to ensure training provision meets business needs.
  • Achieve organisational targets for qualification achievement rates.
  • Undertake administration tasks, manage appointments, and stay up-to-date with the latest policies and procedures.

Requirements (Qualifications & Experience)

  • CAVA, A1 award or equivalent – Essential
  • Degree in Early Years and/or Nursery Management experience – Essential
  • Min Level 3 Teaching Qualification (AET, PTTLS or equivalent) – Desirable
  • Childcare assessing experience – Desirable
  • Excellent time-management, organisational skills; positive outlook and self-motivation
  • Ability to work in a team with resilience and strong communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and maintain great presentation and IT skills
  • Credibility and experience interfacing with senior leadership
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving policies
