Company DescriptionKids Kitchen Collective CIC aims to tackle social isolation, childhood obesity, and environmental impacts of food systems by inspiring adults and young children to cook and eat together. They host stay-and-play cooking sessions where groups of parents/caregivers and young children cook and eat meals together, fostering connections and play opportunities. The work also extends to sharing recipe bags with food banks and setting up after school clubs.Role DescriptionThis is a part-time (10 hrs a week) hybrid role as East-London Hub Coordinator at Kids Kitchen Collective CIC, mostly working from home or in the community in East London — we mostly work within Waltham Forest at the moment. The Coordinator will manage day-to-day tasks in the East-London hub, coordinate Kids Kitchen sessions and provide support to session leaders, as well as developing partnerships with local organisations and funders in order to grow the Hub. This position would suit a confident, community oriented, extremely organised individual who is looking for a stimulating challenge.
