Salary: Circa £70k (dependant on skills and experience)

Contract: Permanent, Full-time (37 hours per week)

Location: Peterborough Office / Hybrid working

Anglian Water offers a flexible working approach. This role allows you to work from home, Project Offices and Anglian Water offices. Your primary location will be Anglian Water's office based in Thorpewood, Peterborough. As part of the role, you will also be expected to visit and work from construction site locations around the region.

Shape the Future of Anglian Water’s Capital Delivery Programme – Join Us as an ECC Project Manager

As an ECC Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering various projects that sit within Anglian Water’s investment programme — You will be managing NEC contracts ranging in value from circa £500K to circa £15M.

You will lead on NEC contract management practice, commercial awareness, and assurance across our Tier 1 and Tier2 supply chain. You will support delivery teams to embed best practices, challenge the status quo, and drive continuous improvement.

This is your opportunity to bring a collaborative, proactive mindset to complex, multi-stakeholder projects — enabling efficient delivery, creating value, and ensuring our customers and business benefit from outstanding outcomes.

You will also help develop and mentor junior team members, role-modelling excellence in contract and commercial management while building strong relationships across our Alliances and Supply Chain ecosystem.

We’re looking for a proactive and commercially minded professional who brings energy, enthusiasm, and a collaborative approach to everything they do. You will have experience supporting senior team members and guiding junior colleagues, with the confidence to challenge constructively to drive value and best practice.

You will be an excellent communicator who builds trust, inspires teams, and works seamlessly with others to deliver shared goals. With strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, you use data and insight to make informed recommendations and tackle challenges head-on.

Organised and forward-thinking, you know how to prioritise tasks effectively, keep accurate records, and take personal responsibility for your own development and knowledge. Proficiency in the Office 365 suite and a passion for delivering high standards round out your skill set.
