We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced E-Commerce Coordinator to work at our Doncaster site.
Reporting to the E-Commerce Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the smooth operation of the e-commerce platform, optimising the customer experience, and maximizing revenue through various digital channels. Covering Website and Platform Management, Product Management, Customer Experience Management, Analytics and Performance Monitoring.
The nature of the role is varied and complex with a requirement for extensive customer and market knowledge and strong analytics skills. It requires initiative and creative skills in growing our online sales in line with our strategy. A demonstrable collaborative approach to stakeholder management, both internally and externally, is essential for the role. Strong communication skills are essential.
Experience & Proven Ability Required
- Previous experience as an E-commerce Specialist or similar role, preferably in the rail, transportation, or related sectors.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, website analytics tools, and online marketing techniques.
- Proficiency in Google Analytics, SEO, SEM, and other digital marketing tools.
- Experience with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento, or similar CMS/CRM systems.
- Assist in developing and implementing e-commerce strategies aligned with company goals
- Develop and deliver detailed project plans, including timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation for the deployment and maintenance of the e-commerce solution
- Improve e-commerce offering’s design and functionality through analytics
- Strong analytical skills to analyse e-commerce data and metrics to identify opportunities for growth and improvement and drive decision making
- Monitor e-commerce traffic and customer reviews to gauge responses to updates, new product introductions, and other changes.
- Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Liaising with customer facing representatives to address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints related to the online experience
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Creative, with an innovative mindset to solve business challenges.
- Results-driven with a strong focus on achieving business and sales goals.
