We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced E-Commerce Coordinator to work at our Doncaster site for a 12 month fixed term contract covering a period of maternity leave. A hybrid/ blended working pattern is available.

Reporting to the E-Commerce Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the smooth operation of the e-commerce platform, optimising the customer experience, and maximizing revenue through various digital channels. Covering Website and Platform Management, Product Management, Customer Experience Management, Analytics and Performance Monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in developing and implementing e-commerce strategies aligned with company goals

Develop and deliver detailed project plans, including timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation for the deployment and maintenance of the e-commerce solution

Improve e-commerce offerings design and functionality through analytics

Monitor e-commerce traffic and customer reviews to gauge responses to updates, new product introductions, and other changes.

Person Specification

Proven experience in e-commerce, ideally within rail, transportation, or related sectors

Strong knowledge of e-commerce platforms, SEO/SEM, Google Analytics, and digital marketing tools

Familiarity with systems such as Shopify, Magento, or similar CMS/CRM platforms

Excellent communication and a collaborative approach to stakeholder management, both internally and externally

Strong analytical skills to analyse e-commerce data and metrics to identify opportunities for growth and improvement and drive decision making

A customer-focused approach, with the ability to resolve online enquiries and issues effectively

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects

A creative, results-driven mindset with attention to detail and a passion for high-quality delivery

Contract Type: 12 month fixed term contract

Hours: Full time, 37 hours per week

Salary: £29,000
