ABOUT THE ROLE
This role is responsible for ensuring all our digital brands (from Good Housekeeping to Runners World and Elle to Cosmo) execute data-driven and brand-appropriate SEO strategies to meet affiliate revenue targets. You will manage a team of two ecommerce SEO managers and be directly responsible for the SEO success of one of our largest brands, Good Housekeeping. Building close relationships with digital leads across brands is essential. You will continually seek growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with your team, brand editorial departments, and the wider ecommerce team to plan and implement successful SEO strategies across our digital brands.
- Ensure monthly content calendars are data-driven, with clear rationale and maximum revenue impact.
- Plan for key shopping events such as Black Friday and Prime Day.
- Manage, mentor, and develop your team, driving strategies daily and executing medium-term projects for efficiency and growth.
- Ensure accurate, timely reporting that delivers actionable insights and is utilized effectively.
- Optimize, document, and ensure consistent adherence to SEO processes.
- Anticipate and adapt to technological and search behavioral changes.
- Devise and implement the ecommerce SEO strategy for a large brand, personally ensuring it meets affiliate revenue goals.
- Coordinate with USA-based SEO colleagues.
- Enhance efficiency through AI process development.
ABOUT YOU
- Proven hands-on experience in ecommerce/affiliate SEO, with broad knowledge of ranking factors and SEO tools.
- Line management experience.
- A commercial mindset focused on driving revenue.
- Advanced data analysis skills, with the ability to translate data into insights for non-technical audiences.
- Strong stakeholder relationship skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Project management experience.
- Strategic thinking abilities.
- Previous publisher experience is desirable.
