Farrow and Ball - Ecommerce Systems Analyst, Wimborne (37.5 hours per week)

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Ecommerce team as an Ecommerce Systems Analyst. This is a full-time position with a hybrid working model, based at our head office in Wimborne and from home. The role requires presence in the office at least 2 days per week.

Farrow & Ball is a luxury British lifestyle brand renowned for richly pigmented paints and handcrafted wallpapers, utilizing print methods dating back 300 years and the finest ingredients.

Our distinctive look transforms both modern and traditional homes worldwide. Established in Dorset in 1946, we have expanded over 75 years to include 60 showrooms globally and a network of stockists.

The success of our brand is driven by our dedicated team, from artisans to showroom staff and support functions, all passionate about providing our customers with a positive experience at every touchpoint.

The Ecommerce Systems Analyst will work as part of a pair, responsible for delivering system developments, initiatives, and projects to enhance Farrow & Ball’s Ecommerce platforms. The role is crucial for managing and improving our ecommerce systems.

The ideal candidate will have an interest in technical solutions and overcoming commercial challenges.

What we expect from you as an Ecommerce Systems Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with the Digital Programme Manager, third-party technical partners, and IT to develop and maintain our B2C and B2B websites, handling front-end and back-end changes.
  2. Provide technical input for new projects and tickets, ensuring clear briefs and effective collaboration with IT and PMO for seamless system integration.
  3. Identify system constraints and seek ongoing improvements in workflows and automation.
  4. Become a subject matter expert, contributing to architecture decisions and technology roadmaps, including training for new systems when necessary.
  5. Lead testing of new website developments, ensuring functionality before deployment, following best practices.
  6. Document design changes, decisions, and processes for clarity and continuity.
  7. Identify opportunities to enhance functionality and customer experience digitally.
  8. Lead category, product, and pricing management.
  9. Respond to and resolve technical issues promptly, collaborating with relevant teams.
  10. Oversee risk register updates and coordinate necessary improvements.

Key Attributes:

  1. Experience in digital/ecommerce, with website and digital development background.
  2. Knowledge of Adobe Commerce/Magento Cloud and/or IFS, with certifications as a plus.
  3. Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience with Jira.
  4. Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  5. Open-minded, collaborative, flexible, personable, and approachable.
  6. Results-oriented with strong attention to detail and ownership of responsibilities.
