The Programme Support Assistant role sits within the Education and Engagement Team who deliver face-to-face and online educational programmes and learning resources for schools, teachers, home educators and school-age children across the UK.
The Role
The Programme Support Assistant will provide high level administrative support. They will manage bookings and sign-up processes across the Programme, providing excellent customer service to teachers/educators and members of the House of Lords. A key part of this role is facilitating online Q&A sessions between members and school groups.
Responsibilities will include:

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience of tailoring language for different audiences, including school aged young people.
- Experience in providing excellent customer service to a range of audiences.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to work efficiently and prioritise tasks to meet tight deadlines.
- Experience of working with IT systems such as databases, bookings systems and Microsoft Office software (particularly Teams, Excel, Word and Outlook).
