We are seeking an Education & SEND Intelligence Analyst to join the team at level A. This is the entry point of the role, so you will need to demonstrate relevant knowledge, experience, and skills. You will be supported to develop in your role through induction, probation, and a supportive Performance Appraisal and Career Conversation. All elements of level A listed within the person specification are essential. During induction, you will be introduced to the Career Progression Framework (CPF), which will help identify your strengths and development needs.

You will contribute to Medway Council’s vision to enable residents to get the best start, develop well, and live healthy, fulfilling, independent lives by providing high-quality intelligence and information. The role is crucial within the Kent and Medway Integrated Care System, collaborating with NHS organizations and key partners to provide data and analysis, ensuring integrated health and social care services that improve outcomes for residents.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Managing and extracting data from various sources, ensuring data quality and accuracy.
  2. Creating performance dashboards and reports.
  3. Ensuring compliance with statutory and mandatory reporting.
  4. Conducting data analysis to identify trends and insights.
  5. Delivering clear and engaging data presentations.
  6. Maintaining knowledge of latest data sources and analytical tools.
  7. Adhering to data protection regulations.
  8. Assisting in training and development across the directorate.
  9. Participating in recruitment and induction training as necessary.

You will liaise with stakeholders in a way that promotes the One Medway Council Plan and embeds our values and behaviours.

The successful candidate will be subject to a Standard DBS check.

Career Progression Frameworks (CPF) have been introduced for all roles at Medway Council. These frameworks allow employees to take ownership of their development and be rewarded accordingly. The offered salary will be at level A unless, based on CPF assessment, you demonstrate meeting criteria for levels B or C. There are opportunities to progress from level A to B, and B to C once in the role.
