Shire Healthcare are recruiting for an Educational Psychologist to work with children and young people presenting with SEM H in a range of schools, across Birmingham.
Work from home with travel required, car driver mandatory
About the employer
The successful candidate will be joining a leading provider of therapeutic care and education for children and young people who present with severe emotional and behavioural needs. This can include trauma, neurodiversity, eating disorders, offending behaviour, sexual exploitation and harmful behaviour.
Role snapshot
The post holder will be working from home and where required will be travelling to services. The successful candidate will provide reflective and supportive therapeutic practice within educational settings, including assessment, formulation and intervention work.

Responsibilities
- Provide reflective and supportive therapeutic practice within educational settings.
- Carry out assessment, formulation and intervention work.
- Work from home with travel to services as required.
Qualifications and experience
- HCPC registration as an Educational Psychologist.
- Experience working with children and young people with complex emotional, behavioural or neurodiverse needs, either during doctoral training or post-qualification.
- Newly HCPC registered Psychologists are encouraged to apply.
