Our client, an engineering company, is seeking an EC&I Designer for a permanent and contract position in Warrington. This role is within the Oil & Gas, Construction, or highly regulated industries.

Role

As an EC&I – Electrical Controls and Instrumentation Designer, you will support Lead and Senior Engineers and be responsible for the production of EC&I design within single or multi-discipline engineering projects, EPCM or EPC, for the Gas Transmission Major Project Programme.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of the EC&I design and working on projects related to the UK gas transmission infrastructure, ranging from Concept Design (BP135G) to Execution Design (T/PM/G/35). You will support the Lead and Senior Engineers in delivering designs within budget and schedule.

You may participate in design reviews and, depending on project size and complexity, may be the responsible EC&I designer for one or multiple projects.

EC&I Designers should identify scope changes and report them to Lead or Senior Engineers, supporting the management of change processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in EC&I design within single or multi-discipline engineering, EPCM, or EPC projects.
• Oil & Gas industry or related experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
