Overview

Electrical Design Engineer – Copello are now looking for several Electrical Design Engineers on behalf of a Defence Prime, who are delivering on current gen and next–gen programmes. This role offers a generous hybrid working pattern, with travel to the North West mandatory, or relocation support.

Responsibilities

• Proficient in CAD to produce 3D models of Electrical Systems and Equipment Integration, such as switchboards and power units.
• Development of 2D electrical system diagrams and schematics.
• Producing outputs to support manufacturing, installation and testing.

Skills and experience

• Relevant engineering qualification
• Experience in Electrical compartment integration and Engineering standards at component and sub–component level
• Knowledge and understanding of Electrical routed systems, in both 2D/3D
• Proficient in CAD toolsets

Industry relevance

Our client would also consider applications with experience in another high hazardous industry, such as Oil & Gas, Nuclear, Aerospace, Maritime and Automotive.
