The Role: Technical Manager - Electrical Engineering - Sales Engineer - Renewable Energy | Location: London (hybrid) | Salary Banding: Circa £80k + benefits

The Company

Our renewable energy client, in the field of energy management and battery storage systems, are seeking a Technical Manager.

The Role

  • As Technical Manager you will develop the site specific technological solutions into our customer's energy system.
  • You will conduct detailed technical analyses of behind-the-meter for Solar PV, Wind, EV and Battery installations.
  • This is a pivotal customer facing role and you will act as the first point of contact for technical questions from customers and internal colleagues.
  • As Technical Manager your role will collaborate with our commercial, technical engineering and project management teams.
  • You will working closely with our sales and commercial teams to design the overall systems.
  • You will work closely with the Project team and create the technical documentation and track the project progress.
  • As Technical Manager you will communicate and collaborate with our EPC partners during installation phases.

The Ideal Candidate

  • The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • You will have proven success in the electrical engineering field, particularly in renewable energy or electric power.
  • You will have a strong background in relevant projects and applications across the renewable energy sector.
  • The ideal candidate will be customer focused and passionate about energy efficiency and renewable energy.
  • You will be confident in dealing with clients at senior levels and managing stakeholder dynamics, being solution focussed and resilient.
  • You will be calm, pragmatic and structured under pressure.
  • You will be comfortable working in a fast-paced SME environment with a hands-on approach
  • A driving license (preferred)
