Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Installation Engineer to join our growing team. This is a field-based role requiring national travel to various restaurant, commercial, and office sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical installations and testing work in line with industry standards and client specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out full electrical installations for restaurant fit-outs, commercial units, and office refurbishments.
• Perform periodic inspection, testing, and certification in accordance with BS7671 (18th Edition).
• Work from technical drawings, plans, and specifications to deliver compliant installations.
• Liaise with site managers, project teams, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Complete required documentation including Electrical Installation Certificates (EICs), Minor Works, and Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs).
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and company procedures on-site at all times.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and materials to a professional standard.
• Travel to multiple sites across the UK, occasionally with overnight stays as required.
• Support junior electricians and apprentices on-site when necessary.

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations.
• C&G 2391 or 2394/2395 Testing & Inspection (essential).
• Full UK driving licence (essential).
• Proven experience in commercial installations and testing.
• Ability to interpret and work from construction drawings and electrical schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to travel and stay away from home when required.
• Excellent communication and team-working skills.
• 10 hour days, no weekend, they try to get you home on Friday by 5pm
