Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team and oversee electrical works across commercial, domestic, and occasional industrial projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in supervising, testing, and ensuring compliance while maintaining the highest standards of safety and workmanship.
Responsibilities
- Act as the Qualifying Supervisor for electrical works, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
- Carry out inspection, testing, and certification of electrical installations.
- Lead and supervise electricians and apprentices on site.
- Undertake fault finding and diagnostic work across various electrical systems.
- Ensure all works are completed in line with 18th Edition wiring regulations and company standards.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety requirements, including asbestos awareness and manual handling practices.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and management to ensure smooth project delivery.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Qualifying Supervisor.
- 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations (essential).
- Inspection & Testing qualification (e.g. 2391 or equivalent).
- Knowledge of asbestos awareness and manual handling procedures.
- Strong fault-finding skills.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain).
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
- Experience across commercial, domestic, and industrial sectors (favourable).
