Overview

Are you a Project Manager with Claims knowledge or experience? Based in London, Madrid, Paris or other considerable locations in Continental Europe, hybrid working is expected and flexible working options can be discussed. This role for our EMEA Claims Operations dept in Continental Europe (CE) will drive some of the largest transformational projects across the region. The role is tasked to detect, investigate and develop suitable claims solutions across all lines of business and contribute to target savings by serving as an operational subject matter expert (SME) for claims transactional tasks across all EMEA clusters/countries. You will collaborate with claims handlers and admin teams on local processes and with senior claims management on their strategy and vision for transformation. This role provides insight into the success and/or shortcomings of the program, and the metrics will be used to inform the future state of the Target Operating Model (TOM) in EMEA.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date reporting around efficiency gains and task allocation agreements with local clusters/countries, and claim savings resulting from the transformational Change Management.
• Determine if further discovery investigations are needed and assist with the development of solution design plans for those claims.
• Project Management of significant EMEA Claims Transformation Projects / digital Initiatives across EMEA.
• Build sustainable Claims Process Solutions in cooperation with all senior leaders.
• Maintain effective communication to senior management at all levels.
• Build business cases for financially sound decision making and act as the link between Operations, Claims and IT on a regional EMEA leadership level.
• Build local process maps for the optimization of internal processes.
• Responsible for achieving the TOM design change goals for EMEA Claims.
• Engage with third parties and other Chubb functions to ensure synergies of scale and lean operations.
• Delivery of feasibility studies as needed alongside Ops senior management.

Qualifications

• Professional experience in project management.
• Preferably with knowledge in the field of claims, but not essential.
• Experience of lean, 6-sigma is an advantage.
• Fluent in English; other languages are desirable but not essential.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deal with senior management on complex matters.
• In-depth knowledge of the insurance industry and international insurance business.
• Analytical thinking and excellent numerical understanding.
• Accountability in driving to implement ambitious goals in accordance with Ops manager.
• Ability to independently develop strategies to achieve ambitious goals based on targets given.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills at top management levels.
• Experience in dealing with international matrix structures and corresponding decision-making processes.
• Willingness to travel (about 10% of activity in the current scenario).
