Overview The Emergency Call Handler provides immediate assistance to vulnerable clients, answering a range of calls from reassurance and accidental or test calls to contacting emergency services. Responsibilities
Arrange help for clients when they need us the most. Answer varying calls with a calm, empathetic approach. Provide reassurance, action accidental or test calls, and contact emergency services as required. Commit to 4 weeks of full‑time training (Mon–Fri, 09:30–17:00). Maintain required internet speeds (5 Mbps upload, 15 Mbps download).
Qualifications
Genuine desire to help the community and a strong sense of empathy. Attentive to customer needs and able to work in a customer‑facing environment. Basic general education; experience in a customer‑facing role preferred. Core values and training will help you thrive in this role.
Working Hours and Compensation 35 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 (average Monday–Sunday). Shift hours are scheduled between 06:00 and 22:00, with a guaranteed 1 weekend off every 4 and a rota set 4 weeks in advance. Salary is £22,404.20 per annum (£12.31 per hour) with opportunities to earn PRP. Start date: 3rd November 2025. Benefits
