We are partnering with a leading global investment management firm in their search for an Employee Relations Director to join their EMEA HR team. This is an exceptional opportunity to work within a high-performing, purpose-driven organisation that places its people at the heart of its long-term success.About the RoleAs part of a collaborative and well-regarded Employee Relations function, you'll play a key role in fostering a respectful, inclusive, and high-performance culture. Working closely with HR Business Partners, Legal, and business leaders, you will provide expert advice and hands-on support across a broad range of complex ER matters - from performance management and involuntary exits to organisational change and policy interpretation.You'll partner regionally and globally to identify and mitigate risk, influence best practice, and help shape the firm\'s broader ER strategy. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful cultural outcomes while operating in a fast-paced, global environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAdvise and support across a wide range of employee relations issues, including performance management, disciplinary matters, and restructuring activity.Partner with HR Business Partners and Legal to assess and mitigate legal, regulatory, and reputational risk.Lead and manage ER cases from initiation to resolution, ensuring fair, consistent, and commercially aligned outcomes.Provide insight and guidance on the ER impact of organisational change initiatives, including M&A and workforce restructuring.Support the design and delivery of ER-related training for HR and business leaders.Contribute to ER policy development, data insights, and broader HR projects across the region.Experience & Skills RequiredStrong ER case management and advisory experience, ideally gained in a complex, matrixed, and international environment.Sound understanding of EMEA employment legislation with the ability to apply it pragmatically in a commercial setting.Exceptional stakeholder management skills - confident advising, influencing, and building consensus across senior leaders.Experience within Financial Services or another highly regulated sector preferred.Experience of developing ER strategy.A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.Why Apply?This is a role for an ER professional who thrives in a dynamic, intellectually curious, and values-driven culture.
