We’re looking for an experienced Employer Brand Manager to join our team on a 12 month fixed term contract covering a maternity leave.

About the role

This role is responsible for promoting and developing our employer brand presence to reflect working life at AJ Bell and align with our brand strategy. It will shape how AJ Bell is viewed by prospective and existing employees and oversee the creation and execution of our employee events calendar.

Key responsibilities

Employer Brand

  • Lead the design, development and execution of our employer brand strategy.
  • Generate captivating content across various platforms, including social media, videos and employee blogs, both internally and externally.
  • Seek opportunities to position our employer brand across different channels and maximise exposure.
  • Monitor and analyze brand performance across channels and make data‑driven recommendations.
  • Provide KPI reporting and relevant MI for brand performance.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and competitor activity to spot innovation opportunities.
  • Collaborate with HR and Recruitment to ensure brand supports recruitment events and employee benefit promotions.
  • Partner with the Senior HR Manager and Senior Recruitment Manager to manage Glassdoor and Indeed accounts.
  • Ensure all content complies with corporate brand guidelines.

Employee Events

  • Collaborate with the Internal Events Coordinator to develop, manage and implement the annual events strategy.
  • Plan, manage and execute high‑value internal events with key stakeholders.
  • Oversee delivery of all internal events, ensuring budget, cost‑effectiveness, inclusivity and accessibility.
  • Support venue and vendor negotiation to deliver high‑quality events at maximum value.
  • Manage day‑to‑day event logistics, welcoming guests, organising vendors, and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Identify process and cost efficiencies to enhance employee engagement.
  • Provide clear reporting on event success to the Senior HR Manager.
  • Drive integration with the AJ Bell DE&I Ambassadors to support employee‑led events.
  • Support the AJ Bell Futures Foundation with charity relationships to engage staff in fundraisers and volunteering.
  • Explore and implement new technologies to support event delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with insurance, legal, health and safety obligations.

  • Support the business in meeting regulatory requirements, including Consumer Duty.

Hybrid working

We offer a hybrid working model: 3‑4 days per week in the office. New team members start with full‑time office presence for the first 3 months to build relationships.
