Employment Solicitor (3 to 5 years’ PQE) – flexible across mfg’s offices. Hours: Full Time. Term: Permanent.

The Employment team is award-winning and collaborates across Worcester, Kidderminster, Birmingham and Telford with future growth plans across Worcestershire, Shropshire and the West Midlands. The role offers hybrid/flexible working driven by business and client needs.
You will have significant influence over how your experience and expertise develop, with encouragement and support to engage in business development, seminars and networking events, and drafting monthly articles for publication.
Day to day
We are seeking a dedicated Employment Solicitor (3 to 5 years’ PQE) to join a dynamic Employment division that handles a broad spectrum of cases for both employers and employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert employment law advice to employers and employees on a range of issues.
- Handle TUPE matters, redundancies and transfers of undertakings.
- Negotiate and draft settlement agreements.
- Advise on restrictive covenants, breaches of confidentiality and workplace disputes.
- Draft and review employment contracts and staff handbooks.
- Perform legal research and analysis for case preparation.
- Draft court submissions and other legal documents; communicate with opposing counsel.
- Collaborate with Partners and colleagues to devise strategies for client goals.
- Contribute to business development efforts and support firm growth initiatives.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years’ PQE in Employment Law.
- Proven experience handling employment tribunal claims appropriate to the role level.
- Strong communication, negotiation and client-management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a supportive team environment.
- Proactive approach to business development and marketing.
