Overview

An opportunity has arisen for an Employment Solicitor to join a leading UK membership organisation for healthcare providers on a permanent basis as part of their Employment Law team.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for providing advice and representation to members (employees and employers) in respect to employment and discrimination law including statutory and contractual rights, tribunal procedures, conduct of litigation, mediation and settlement of claims, TUPE and redundancy procedures. You will draft relevant legal documents and provide accurate legal advice, advocating on behalf of members at meetings and tribunals when required. Finally, you will help monitor and respond to legal queries as well as contribute to wider communications out to members.

Qualifications

To be considered, you will be qualified solicitor with a minimum of three years post qualification experience, ideally in employment law, including contentious and non-contentious advisory matters and tribunals. Previous experience of working for a regulatory body, membership body or Trade Union is desirable, but not essential.

Salary and Working Conditions

On offer is a salary between £55,000-£60,000, dependent on experience and hybrid working. Please note you will be expected to attend the office two days a week (London).
