Your new role

As an Employment Tax Manager, you'll be a key point of contact for clients, providing advisory support across the full spectrum of employment tax issues. You'll lead client projects, support HMRC interactions, and collaborate with internal teams on due diligence, compliance, and governance reviews.

Key responsibilities

  • Delivering high-quality Employment Tax advice across areas including IR35, National Minimum Wage, CIS, and HMRC enquiries
  • Supporting clients with disclosures, settlements, and proactive advisory planning
  • Leading on employment status, PAYE/NIC, and reward-related advisory projects
  • Contributing to business development through proposals, networking, and relationship management
  • Delivering technical updates and training to clients and internal teams
  • Delegating and reviewing work, supporting junior staff development

About you

  • Strong technical knowledge across Employment Tax, ideally from a practice background
  • Experience managing client relationships and delivering advisory projects
  • Proven ability to communicate complex matters clearly and commercially
  • CTA, ACA, or equivalent qualification preferred
  • Confident, collaborative, and proactive approach
