Job Description: Our Energy Advisory team is seeking a graduate to work within either our Edinburgh or Glasgow office with a start date of August 2026 onwards. We are addressing the global need for cleaner energy and decarbonisation by aligning our integrated consultancy teams with the needs and goals of governments, local authorities, developers, construction contractors, manufacturers, financiers, and operators of energy infrastructure.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting the delivery of consultancy services on energy engineering and decarbonisation projects.
- Providing input into feasibility level studies for energy projects.
- Data analysis to support projects related to energy efficiency, building decarbonisation, and renewable energy feasibility.
- Performing energy calculations and cost to validate energy conservation measures (ECMs) on energy auditing projects.
- Research on solutions for client projects related to advanced and emerging energy technologies.
- Preparing technical reports and presentations to communicate findings to clients and stakeholders.
About our Team: Our Energy Advisory team offers expertise in energy efficiency and carbon management, energy master planning, building decarbonisation, renewable energy, digital solutions, bioenergy, thermal power generation, and sustainability frameworks.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have a BEng in a relevant discipline or BSc with post-graduate qualifications in a relevant discipline, a 2:1 degree classification or above, and work or educational experience in energy engineering. We are looking for someone who can demonstrate a commitment to continued education and improvement, has a demonstrable interest in a career in energy efficiency and low carbon operations, and has good Microsoft Office skills.
