Job Purpose
The successful candidate will be responsible for centralised management and coordination of the energy metering and connections function within the UU Energy Team. This includes managing the performance of UUW fiscal electricity meters for existing HH and NHH supplies, overseeing UUW sub-metering system performance, and managing new/upgrades for electricity connections in collaboration with the wider business, including CEC and Electrical Infrastructure Teams.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Manage energy replacement programmes, prioritising based on funding, contractor resources, and metering/reading issues.
- Report on meter issues, queries, and replacements, including risk escalation and forecasting future workload demands.
- Manage the completion, submission, and tracking of grid applications on behalf of UUW.
- Develop and oversee grid application processes and management systems.
- Support resource allocation for sub-metering performance, prioritising remedial work, and directing resources to address faults or non-working sub-meters.
