Your Role
We are seeking a Principal Consultant/Associate focused on technical and commercial due diligence in the energy sector. You will work on infrastructure assets including transport technologies and core-plus infrastructure, supporting high-profile transactions and strategic advisory projects.
- Conduct technical and commercial due diligence for investors, lenders, and developers in renewable energy, CCUS, hydrogen, and emerging technologies.
- Support advisory projects across transport and infrastructure sectors, applying analytical and commercial expertise.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and technical specialists globally to deliver high-quality results.
- Help develop methodologies, tools, and best practices within the team.
- Travel overseas for project-related visits (typically 2–3 days per trip for kick-offs, site visits, or final presentations).
About Our Team
WSP is a global leader in strategic advisory services, supporting clients like DESNZ in their CCUS programs. Our Infrastructure and Economic Advisory team has a proven track record in feasibility, market forecasts, and technical assessments, serving private and public sector clients including financial institutions, utilities, ports, and mobility operators. We are expanding into new sectors such as industrial, government programs, mobility, and infrastructure, backed by a global network of 70,000 technical specialists.
What We Seek
- Experience in infrastructure advisory, especially in energy or transport sectors.
- Background in engineering consultancy, accountancy, or advisory firms.
- Strong understanding of project finance, investment appraisal, and risk analysis.
- Experience managing complex projects and workstreams under tight deadlines.
- Collaborative mindset and versatility across sectors and disciplines.
- Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Passion for sustainable infrastructure and energy transition.
