We are seeking an experienced and talented individual to join the Marsh Energy & Power team as the Energy Transition Growth Leader.

Responsibilities
- Be responsible for driving growth initiatives, including suggesting and building innovative solutions for clients and new projects with a specific focus on the energy transition.
- Continue to build our strong brand around our expertise and value proposition to support clients and prospects in their energy transition journeys, as well as capturing market share.
- Delivering the strategic priorities relevant to Energy. Leading the drive and execution of a sales culture across the UK Energy practice. Bringing greater client connectivity across the London market platform will be a particular focus.
- Delivery of key projects, including the execution of growth strategies and developing a more collaborative and connected focus around network/clients. The role will also have a focus on creating and maintaining cross‑departmental communication and strategies to cultivate and utilise a sales community across UK Specialty.
- Be a super collaborator - working closely with colleagues across Energy & Power, across Marsh and across Marsh McLennan to drive new and expanded opportunities. Optimise and drive relationships with key stakeholders, which include: Business CEO, Placement Leader, Client (both network and retail client), Marketing, as well as utilising cross‑Specialty relationships, in order to cultivate a sales culture and in turn deliver growth across cyber.
- Innovation to meet client needs; ensure visibility and an understanding of activity across product lines to identify gaps and in turn drive a coherent, joined up innovation agenda.
- Cultivate a strong sales culture by delivering sales training and drive colleague activity to promote a growth mindset.
Requirements
- Experience working across the various transition technologies from low carbon solutions to renewables, including LNG, hydrogen, CCS, offshore wind, BESS, solar etc.
- Experience across the risk landscape, including construction and operational risks.
- Sales / growth experience.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Demonstrates integrity and collaborates effectively with others – a team player.
