Join Brush Power Generation. The BRUSH Power Generation division provides reliable and innovative solutions to meet the most challenging requirements for power generation, grid stabilization, substation and power grid support, and decarbonization through electrification. You will work as part of a team to develop and support products within the Technology groups.
Responsibilities
- Developing skills to make work decisions, apply concepts to issues of moderate complexity, and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning.
- Developing and implementing control logic, instrumentation, hardware and software solutions, including human interfaces which govern complex systems often consisting of static and dynamic electrical and mechanical components, sensors and communications interfaces.
- Delivering engineering and scientific efforts related to the design of new products and services and new designs for customer projects.
- Delivering projects through the design, verification, production and, if required, commercialization stages.
- Coordinating closely with Discipline, Research, and Testing teams as needed.
Qualifications
- Be Degree or equivalent qualified in an Engineering discipline.
- Have experience in Python programming language.
- Have previous experience on Low-level data manipulation (binary and bitwise operations).
- Be comfortable working with Linux and the command line.
- Have exposure to Modbus communication protocol / Cloud-based virtual machines / Microsoft Azure / Software revision control (Git).
- Be able to have a clear and structured documentation of work.
- Be comfortable to do independent research, learning and problem-solving.
- Have effective and professional communication with technical and non-technical colleagues.
