What You’ll Do

We are looking for an Engineering Director to join our UK NPD team creating a new generation of innovative heated products for the Ninja brand. You will oversee and direct all aspects of design and development activities, drive innovation, and ensure successful execution of NPD projects aligned with SharkNinja’s goals. You will place the consumer at the center of everything you do, lead with an innovative mindset for the business, and ensure a 5-star product and commercialization experience for consumers. You will be a strategic thinker who aligns category goals with the company mission and builds a high-performing team that embodies SharkNinja’s Success Drivers.

What You’ll Bring

• Leadership and Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers and researchers; foster a culture of innovation and excellence.
• Project Management: Oversee the full lifecycle of NPD projects from conception to launch, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence, and quality.
• Research and Innovation: Drive continuous innovation by staying abreast of emerging technologies, market trends, and industry advancements; support research activities for new products or processes.
• Collaboration and Cross-Functional Coordination: Facilitate collaboration across R&D, advanced development, product development and other departments to integrate NPD initiatives into product development cycles.
• Quality Assurance: Implement quality control processes and ensure regulatory and industry standards.
• Communication and Reporting: Communicate NPD strategies, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders and executives.
• Cross-Regional Collaboration: Collaborate with U.S. and China-based Product Development teams and multi-functional partners.
