Engineering Manager - Birmingham (Hybrid) - SaaS Scale-up - £80K

We are hiring for an Engineering Manager to join a fast-growing SaaS scale-up that is delivering real impact for its customers. With a strong product, recent growth, and ambitious plans ahead, they are now looking for an experienced engineering leader who can help grow and support their engineering team.

Your day to day

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of engineers, helping them thrive in their roles and grow in their careers
• Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-trust team environment that delivers quality work at pace
• Work closely with product and design teams to align on priorities, scope, and deliverables
• Support the technical direction of the team while empowering engineers to own solutions and drive best practices
• Drive hiring efforts, onboard new team members, and help shape the future of the engineering organisation

What we need:

• Proven experience leading software engineering teams in a SaaS or tech-driven environment
• Strong focus on people leadership, team development, and creating a healthy engineering culture
• Solid technical background and ability to engage in technical discussions (you do not need to be hands-on daily)
• Passion for mentoring, continuous improvement, and delivering value to customers
