Day to day this role will
- Drive a payments & billing engineering team in crafting exceptional software solutions in PHP/Laravel
- Represent the team’s roadmap to stakeholders, transforming business needs into prioritized engineering projects
- Design and cultivate an engineering environment that maximizes productivity and drives Tillo’s growth
- Partner closely with the Product Manager to create a compelling short and long-term engineering vision
- Oversee DevOps support, ensuring our systems are optimized for peak performance and reliability
- Be the go-to person for platform issues, coordinating swift resolutions and keeping everyone in the loop
- Provide technical expertise in client meetings and help our sales and business development teams shine
- Lead recruitment for your team and support their personal development journeys
- Champion our security initiatives, ensuring we adhere to ISO 27001 standards and maintain a robust Information Security Management System (ISMS)
- An experience leader, with a knack for scaling engineering teams effectively
- Experience in PHP & Laravel is preferred but we are open to candidates from other programming backgrounds, with a track record in scaling an API-first business.
- A strong communicator, capable of partnering with technical and non-technical team members
- A customer centric, product minded individual with strong knowledge of secure development principles
- Proven dedication to keeping documentation clear and up-to-date
