You will lead safety case production, manage engineering workstreams, and ensure safe delivery of Ship lift programmes through to end-of-life.What You’ll DoLead the Shiplift Safety Justification Plan (SJP)Manage engineering inputs across all Ship lift programmesGuide Safety Case & Design EngineersCollaborate with stakeholders across the project lifecyclePromote safety, compliance, and best practicesProvide strong engineering leadership in safety-critical environmentsExperience in safety case management and stakeholder engagementKnowledge of Design Authority responsibilities and standardsJoin us to help shape the safe future of Shiplift operations.QualificationsEssential Skills & Experience: Degree in Engineering or a related fieldChartered Engineer (or working towards it with solid CPD)Strong knowledge of nuclear regulatory complianceDesirable ExperienceIn-depth knowledge of Design Authority (DA) roles & nuclear safety casesProject engineering & site integrationTechnical assurance and compliance with industry legislationAuthoring technical reports, specs, and queriesExperience in regulated environmentsStakeholder engagement across disciplinesBasic H&S training for site workMentoring and supervising engineersOrganised, detail-oriented, with strong written & verbal communicationAdditional InformationDue to the nature of this role the successful candidate will require Security clearance.
