Engineering Team Lead
As an Engineering Lead, you will coach and mentor a team of Engineers, guiding them in system design and best practices, supporting their career progression and personal development. You will lead performance management, foster a high‑performance environment, and partner with Product Management to schedule and prioritize work. You will manage day‑to‑day squad delivery, ensuring high‑quality systems that meet business objectives.
What you’ll bring
- Proven team leadership and line‑management experience, including coaching, mentoring, and sustaining team wellbeing.
- Strong commercial development experience with C#, .NET / .NET Core.
- Solid understanding of SOLID principles, event‑driven architecture, and domain‑driven design.
- Experience designing RESTful APIs.
- Experience with Azure cloud services – web apps, functions, SQL, Cosmos DB, Service Bus, Application Insights, Azure API Management, etc.
- SQL skills.
- Foundational knowledge of test‑driven development, with proficiency in NUnit, Microsoft.TestFramework, Selenium or similar.
- High emotional intelligence – active listening and thoughtful problem‑solving.
- Proactiveness and initiative, working collaboratively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, explaining technical concepts to stakeholders.
- Stakeholder management ability.
- Strong problem‑solving skills.
