Engineering Team Lead

As an Engineering Lead, you will coach and mentor a team of Engineers, guiding them in system design and best practices, supporting their career progression and personal development. You will lead performance management, foster a high‑performance environment, and partner with Product Management to schedule and prioritize work. You will manage day‑to‑day squad delivery, ensuring high‑quality systems that meet business objectives.

What you’ll bring

• Proven team leadership and line‑management experience, including coaching, mentoring, and sustaining team wellbeing.
• Strong commercial development experience with C#, .NET / .NET Core.
• Solid understanding of SOLID principles, event‑driven architecture, and domain‑driven design.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs.
• Experience with Azure cloud services – web apps, functions, SQL, Cosmos DB, Service Bus, Application Insights, Azure API Management, etc.
• SQL skills.
• Foundational knowledge of test‑driven development, with proficiency in NUnit, Microsoft.TestFramework, Selenium or similar.
• High emotional intelligence – active listening and thoughtful problem‑solving.
• Proactiveness and initiative, working collaboratively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, explaining technical concepts to stakeholders.
• Stakeholder management ability.
• Strong problem‑solving skills.
