Are you a sharp, energetic sales professional ready to make your mark? We are seeking a driven Account Executive to spearhead our growth in the UK Market, particularly within Defence & Space and IT Services sectors. This is a unique opportunity for an AE with a true ‘hunter’ mentality to take ownership of an untapped territory. You\'ll be backed by a market-leading product and a supportive team, but the success of the region will be yours to build. If you are passionate about technology, skilled at generating your own pipeline, and thrive on the challenge of building something new, this is the role for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the Full Sales Cycle: Proactively manage the entire sales process from initial prospecting and lead generation to contract negotiation and closing.
- Be a Hunter: Identify and engage key decision-makers within target accounts in the UK Defence, Space, and IT Services industries through strategic outreach, networking, and social selling.
- Build Your Pipeline: Generate your own leads and book a high volume of qualified meetings to build a robust and reliable sales pipeline.
- Master the Demo: Become an expert on the VisibleThread platform and deliver compelling, tailored product demonstrations that clearly articulate our value proposition and solve prospect challenges.
- Strategic Territory Management: Develop and execute a strategic plan to achieve and exceed your sales quotas within your assigned territory.
- Maintain Excellence: Diligently track all sales activities, update customer information, and manage your pipeline in our CRM system (SalesForce).
Who You Are
- Experienced: You have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a B2B sales role within SaaS. If you have demonstrated experience as a high-performing Sales/Business Development Representative (SDR/BDR) looking for your next career progression, this may be for you.
- A Natural Hunter: You are a self-starter with a proven track record of successfully prospecting for new business and exceeding targets.
- Technically Savvy: You have a genuine interest in technology and can quickly learn new software to a high degree of proficiency.
- An Excellent Communicator: You have outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to present and demonstrate to senior stakeholders. You have empathy & see things from your customers perspective.
- Energetic & Resilient: You have a positive, tenacious attitude and are motivated by the challenge of building a new market.
- Based in the UK: You must be in and have the right to work in the UK.
Nice To Haves
- Direct experience selling into the Defence & Aerospace, Central Government, or IT Services sectors.
- Familiarity with complex procurement processes, proposal writing, or bid management.
- Experience using CRM software like Salesforce or HubSpot.
