Job Title: Enterprise Architect - Group Architecture
Location: London

Group Architecture (GA) is part of the Technology, Data & Innovation (TDI) division. GA plays a pivotal role in accelerating the delivery of a bank-wide simplified target architecture that enhances agility, increases technology speed-to-market, and reduces costs. GA's activities include coordinating the development of target architectures and roadmaps, implementing governance frameworks, deploying strategic tools, ensuring design discipline, and establishing policies and standards. The Architecture Strategy team within GA coordinates the Bank's target state architecture definition and execution. This is aligned with TDI strategies and standards, optimized to reduce duplication, increase capability, and balance cost. In the role, of an Enterprise Architect specialist, you will be working as part of a small team on architecture strategy focused on driving Architecture strategy outcomes such as cross-division target-states, assessing change programmes compliance to target-states and ensuring our target-architecture is optimised.

Your key responsibilities
- Assist the architecture strategy pillar lead in defining the architecture tooling strategy and blueprint
- Working on specific architecture initiatives and deliverables such as defining cross divisional target-states
- Contribute to defining the strategic digital architecture framework and building of a digital architecture and management information system (A&MI)
- Show us how to leverage architecture data to improve our architecture decision making
- Produce high quality architecture reporting that become a standard/ guiderail across Group and Domain Architecture of the Bank
- Encourage better ways of working, embedding architecture and design into our culture
- Working across other architecture functions refining how we do architecture in the firm aligned to optimised ways of working
Your skills and experience
- Experience in Financial Services with experience in an architecture role
- Experience in collaborating with stakeholders to document current states, develop target and transition architectures and resulting business & technology roadmaps
- Experience in architecture governance including defining and assessing compliance to architecture principles
- Summarising complex architecture / design related challenges in simple terms for senior management consumption
- Strong knowledge of ArchiMate modelling language
