We are looking to recruit an experienced data architect who has practical experience migrating from an on-premise SQL Server-based data architecture to a cloud-first architecture. The role focuses on creating a clearly focused data architecture that addresses business needs and creates a single version of the truth in a complex data environment, including integration with 3rd party service providers and the ability to import and integrate large volumes of complex and sensitive data. You will be removing duplication and silos of data to support current and future business needs.

Responsibilities

• Identify an As-Is data architecture, collaborate with stakeholders to create a Target data architecture that removes duplication and increases integration across the business.
• Develop a data architecture roadmap integrated with business, application, and infrastructure architectures to enable ongoing operational expansion.

Requirements

• Experience as a data architect with hands-on experience migrating from on-premise SQL Server to a cloud-first architecture.
• Ability to integrate large volumes of complex and sensitive data and work with 3rd party providers.
• Strong focus on eliminating data duplication and silos and delivering a single version of the truth.
• Hybrid role requiring 2 days per week at the client’s office in West Yorkshire.
