We're supporting a reputable Principal Contractor delivering major Rail and Civil Engineering schemes across Yorkshire and the surrounding areas. With a healthy programme of secured work and an established delivery team, they re looking for an Environmental Advisor to lead compliance across key sites.

This is a regional position with flexibility, you ll split your time between site visits, the local office and working from home.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of the Environmental Advisor include:

  • Lead environmental compliance and regulatory engagement for the region
  • Manage consents, permits, and environmental documentation
  • Monitor environmental performance (carbon, noise, water, vibration, waste)
  • Conduct audits and support continual improvement initiatives
  • Support incident investigation and reporting
  • Deliver environmental briefings and awareness sessions
  • Track environmental KPIs and produce reports

What s on offer

  • Salary of up to GBP55,000
  • Company car (EV/Hybrid Options) or Car Allowance of up to GBP8,200

What we re looking for:

  • Degree in Environmental Management or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience of working within Civil Engineering, Construction, Rail, Utilities, Highways or similar environments
