The Chief Sustainability Office is responsible for developing Deutsche Bank’s sustainability strategy and driving its implementation across all business divisions, infrastructure functions, and regions. Its core responsibilities include defining the strategic framework, coordinating the Bank’s sustainable finance activities, setting Environmental Social Governance (ESG) standards, and overseeing regulatory and disclosure obligations. The Chief Sustainability Office comprises four teams: Strategy & Regional Governance, Execution, Data & Regulatory, Group Sustainability, and ESG Transparency.

As an Environmental and Social Due Diligence Associate you will be part of the Group Sustainability team. The role focused on supporting Deutsche Bank’s sustainability policies and frameworks. You’ll be responsible for reviewing transactions, conducting due diligence, delivering support to Business teams, and helping develop innovative, sustainable solutions for our clients.

This role requires a strong understanding of environmental and social risks, in-depth knowledge of International Environmental and Social standards together with Deutsche Bank’s Policies and Environmental and Social Due Diligence Framework, and the ability to collaborate effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
