37hours per week, office based - Hybrid once settled into the role. Environmental Health Officer (EHO):- The EHO is responsible for investigating complaints, conducting inspections, and enforcing legislation across a range of regulatory functions, including food safety, housing, health and safety, pollution control, and nuisance. The role includes preparing legal evidence, advising the public, engaging in partnership work, and contributing to strategic plans and statutory returns. EHOs are expected to operate with a high degree of professional autonomy, using their specialist knowledge to protect public health and ensure regulatory compliance.
