The Role
Are you an experienced Environmental Monitoring Systems (EMS) Project Manager with a background in the pharmaceutical industry? We're seeking a skilled and proactive project manager to join our team on a contract basis in Harlow, UK. This is a hybrid role, offering flexibility to work both in the office and from home.
About the contract
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of complex Environmental Monitoring Systems projects within the pharmaceutical sector. This involves implementing and managing systems that monitor critical environmental conditions such as temperature, humidity, and differential pressure in cleanrooms and other controlled environments. Your expertise in managing these highly regulated projects will be crucial to ensuring compliance and quality.
This contract is confirmed as being inside IR35. As such, all relevant tax and National Insurance contributions will be deducted at source via a payroll provider or umbrella company. We are committed to ensuring this is a compliant and transparent engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage EMS projects from initiation to completion, ensuring all project goals are met.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with all project stakeholders.
What we are looking for
- A minimum of 5-6 years of project management experience in the Environmental Monitoring Systems (EMS) sector.
- Essential: Proven experience within the Pharmaceutical Industry.
- Essential: Solid experience in System Validation (GxP/CSV).
- Demonstrated experience with well-known EMS platforms such as Siemens PCS7, Ellab EMSiute, Hanwell, Rotronics, or Aveva systems.
- Thorough knowledge of MS Projects and Agile methodologies.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Scrum Master experience would be a significant advantage.
Location: Harlow, UK (Hybrid)
Day Rate: Up to £315 (Inside IR35)
