Job Description

Contribute as part of a multi-skilled team to deliver an efficient and effective Environmental Service within our communities in order to assist with the promotion, delivery and integration of the Council’s key objectives in relation to those identified within the East Ayrshire Community Plan, Shared Commitments, Single Outcome Agreement and Best Value.

Requirements

The Individual

This is a full-time temporary position until 1st July 2027, based at Western Road Depot, Kilmarnock.

The hours of work are 35 per week with the following pattern:

The full-time salary ranges from £34,453 to £37,365 per annum.

The workstyle for this post is ‘Flexible’ - 50-79% of time is office-based. Employees may work at different or multiple locations, occasionally from home or external appointments 1-2 days per week. It is expected that all office-based employees (except those in schools) will work towards the higher end of their workstyle allocation in terms of time spent in the office or at other locations.
